The Beating Heart Festival

BHF-2007

Every Friday night of every summer, the Beating Heart Festival features the best of Canadian music across the GTA ranging from Funk to Hip Hop and Punk to Hardcore and everything in between. Held in conjunction with the city of Mississauga and the My Mississauga initiative, The Beating Heart Festival hosts a free all ages concert series from 7pm to 11pm every Friday at the Mississauga Civic Square. After the demise of the Masonic Lodge in Streetsville, the city of Mississauga was at a loss for all ages venues. Thereafter, The Beating Heart Festival was designed to provide on outlet for local talent to showcase their music for all ages. Concerts included performances by The Junction, The Reason, Peter Katz, Theology 3, Five Blank Pages, Baptized in Blood, and many more great Canadian Acts.
