Live at the MOD Club with Sydney for their CD Release Party, Shotgun Rules put on one hell of a show. I think back to when I first saw Shotgun Rules headline the Aggression Session with Wheels On The Bus in London, Ontario – their hometown – and the crowd was all theirs. Even in Toronto away from home, the boys truly captured everyone there. With every member delivering the same emotion as their lead singer John MacKenzie, it was hard not to be completely absorbed. Song after song, their energy grew illustrated by the sweat that beaded off everyone of them. Every member performed with their entire body and never holding back. It is without a doubt that I tag this band as the group that set the bar so high you don’t want to play after them.
