What better way to spend the August long weekend than 4 days of camping, 3 nights of parties, and 2 days of wicked Canadian music?
From August 3rd to the 6th, people from all over Ontario gathered at the beautiful Grand Bend, where St. Catherines’ own Alexisonfire headlined the four-day extravaganza also known as the Cutting Edge Music Festival.
Honey Jam
Honey Jam 2007 was Toronto’s best female artist showcase of the year. Held on August 12th at the Mod Club by birthday girl, Ebonnie and her crew, this year’s roster included Denosh, who is currenly singing backp on Justin Timberlake’s world wide tour, FutureSex/LoveSounds. Over 70 artists have played Honey Jam for the over the past 10 years including chart toppers, Nelly Furtado and Jully Black.
Wakestock World Series
Today, ten years after its conception, Wakestock stands as the biggest event of its kind in the world. Packed full of wakeboarding, skating, motor cross, and music of all genres, this year’s Wakestock was by far, one of the greatest family events of the summer. Whether, chillin and drinking to some good tunes is your thing, or checking out all the latest border tricks, Wakestock had something for everyone.
