EPK Video Contest
The Ongoing Music Documentary is a video project that began in 2007. In its time it has covered artists of all genres from some of the most renouned music festivals in Ontario including Canadian Music Week, North by North East, Wake Stock, and the Virgin Music Festival with such artists as Alexisonfire, The Flatliners, Bedouin Soundclash, Weakerthans, Buck 65 among other fine International artists such as Moby, Foo Fighters, Goldfinger, and RZA to name a few.
The mission of The Ongoing Music Documentary is to promote and educate the next wave of Canadian artists by filming both major label and independent artists side by side… thereby cross promoting the underdogs with the legends. Our EPK videos uncover bits of truth that shed light on the life of an artist and the craft of music. It is syndicated across all our social networks and archived in our official website’s documentary channel. Productions include a live performance and interview using the artist’s current single as the theme track.
Eligibility
- Must have a recent release with distribution (within the last 6 months and available in stores or online)
- Must have a performance booked in Toronto in one of our partnered venues
Prize Pack Includes
- Live concert video shoot of your new single (in Toronto only)
- Backstage video interview (same night of the performance)
- Finished EPK video in The Ongoing Music Documentary (by the following month of wrapping the video shoot)
