This one is a goodie! I first saw Sean perform at the Lost Lounge in October of the previous year when i was contending for the Edge’s Gong Contest with my 1″ punch board break. While marketing myself through facebook a good guy named Daniel was running the Sound Lounge (now referred to as The Lost Lounge) and invited me to demonstrate my board break after Sean’s set.

Needless to say, after watching Sean play, I was too inspired to proceed with my board break. Instead I ran home and found him on Myspace to introduce myself (should have in person but I’m a shy guy). Months later we finally arranged a shoot where I first saw him.

This video shows what i saw in him. The story-telling Folklore artist, Sean Pinchin, is best known for crafting warm and soulful sounds with nothing but his voice, harmonica and slide guitar. Using his music as therapy, every performance has an emotional delivery that any audience can feel and relate to.

Kudos Sean! You’re absolutely right, you’re stuck with your voice, but you can make the music work for your voice. Nice approach my man.
