You can only use your own domain name if you have an OFFICIAL WEBSITE membership or OFFICIAL WEBSITE + Otherwise you can use a free subdomain like yourname.epkhosting.com, i.e. Official EPK membership
Your content can be exported from your EPK by going to Tools > Export and you can download an XML file which you can then upload to your new WordPress web host. Unfortunately, all the plugins and themes that are part of the network will not be transferable.
Because here at EPKhosting.com, our WordPress platform is tailored for musicians, artists and other talents in need of an EPK website; appropriate themes and plugins.
Unlike other web hosts for musicians, you can manage your WordPress website with your iPhone or BlackBerry. You can even password protect pages for VIPs only!
With an Official EPK membership, you are limited to one single page but it can be as long as you like provided you do not run out of disk space. There is no limit to the number of pages/posts you can have in your Official Website or Official Website +
Uploading of any kind, i.e. mp3s, photos, flvs, etc.
We conduct a nightly server backup for emergencies related to the server such as a disk failure, power outage, etc. We do not restore individual websites so be sure to make your own backups.
